Of the recent efforts, this was one of my favorites. Loved the music and the story was lightly Americanized, but kept the flavor of the Chinese legend. Great music.

This movie is my favorite of all animated disney movies!! It is great for all kids and parents!! The story is wonderful and there are great songs! (i do not reccommend the sequel: Mulan 2)

I loved this movie! Not exactly the classic movies like the lion king, or cinderella, but definitely entertaining. My kids loved it. It isn't needed to be part of the disney movie collection, but it was a good movie, although it is not a classic.

a good girl power movie coming from a time when girl power meant annoying british accents, short skirts and impossibly high shoes.

It's not one of my all-time favorite Disney films, but it still was a good movie. Disney did a great job of mixing history and animation.

After reading someone else's comments, I have to say--Mulan was an amazing Disney movie! It had a strong female lead (even stronger than the typical Disney heroine) and encouraged much re-thinking of tradtional gender roles, plus had several really humorous scenes and excellent songs. One point I have to agree on, though; the movie is more for thinkers than non-thinkers.

Not what you would think of as a subject for a Disney movie, but they do a great job. A Chinese girl disguises herself as a male so she can fight for her country, with very funny results at times. The animation is excellent, but I can't honestly remember any songs in it.

For those of us who regularly watch Disney movies (my brother loves them, so every time I new one comes out, I see it), we got totally spoiled with a string of really great ones. This was the last of that string. Finally, we get a Disney heroin who actually does something besides look beautiful, get kidnapped or put to sleep or whatever, and get rescued by some man. It was well-made, had some very memorable music, and had it's share of laughs. The kids will love it, and most of the adults I know enjoyed it, too. Take care, everyone!

This was quite boring, and i'm talking slow and really bad songs. I love the disney songs in almost all their movies, but u couldn't get a worst movie for songs. The animation is great and it is an original story, but it is just 2 boring and slow to get to any action, romance or climax. If u like fun, disney movies with great interesting characters AVOID THIS! However if u like an in depth story that requires u to think, than enjoy by all means, you'll love it. But all-in-all VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I don't know why, but Mulan was such a bad movie. I was really disappointed, because I thought that I might have enjoyed it, but that stupid dragon character ruined everything that was good about this movie. It was a good try though.

I looooove this movie!!!! The first time I saw it was when my sister took me to see it. The start was so sad I had tears in my eyes.

This was much better than I had expected it to be. In fact it was great. A great story and I like the way Disney braught a great piece of history to life and mixed in its own magic. An excellent movie for all children and some adults.

Really funny!! Mulan is one strong gal!!
