Jason did the right thing. not only does he have his future life to think about but he has son he has to put first and choosing a girl like melissa who wants it to be about her and putting on to much to get what she wants. she is to immature. he made the right decision to search it out and end it with her. i'm glad he did what he did. for the sake of his child get somebody who is ready and able to put her wild side away. good going jason

I think the Bachelor is ridiculous - the thought that a woman can fall in love after 2 or 3 weeks while she's sharing a man with 20 other women. This is a stupid show.

Jen. Down a noch from last week = 3. stars now. Sade. Down also from last week = 4. stars now. Leza. Will be next to go!. I think he is an asshole and has no intention of getting married. The story has lost it's grandeur of past shows. The girls don't cat fight like they don'tcare one way or the other like they know its not real. Poor acting or what!. Erica?. I have no idea why she is still poping up?. Not enough to hold much intrest!...

I really enjoyed this season of bachelor Paris. Travis really is the best bachelor ever.Sara from Tenn. was the perfect choice for you,she fits you like a hand and glove.I truely pray that the two of you find continued happiness. MAY GOD BLESS YOU!

trash television.
Mr Evangel 05/17/2005
This show cracks me up! All these girls fighting over one guy. Talk about heaven! However, the success rate of the relationships are very small. I enjoy watching sometimes.
Gentle Jude 04/29/2005
Just the name turns me off. The name is meant to sound really cool. I don't like the idea of them making it entertainment for girls to be fighting over a boy. If you want perverse entertainment, watch the Jerry Springer show. Usually Jerry Springer is a lot more entertaining! I agree with what someone below said in their comments 'that this show is degrading to women and we have taken a step backwards in uplifting the image of women' (not her exact words.) It is degrading to women, because it makes women look like they are cheap, and they all can't live without their man. They are so desperate, theyll fight over a man. Plus they are materialistic, ware bikinis all the time and love rich men. Not a very good image.
JudiRaber 03/11/2005
I always enjoyed watching this show up until I saw Jen dumping Jerry- my favorite guy on the whole show! Jen is a spoiled little brat who doesn't even know what she wants. She obviously went for looks (which is why she chose Jerry) and then realized last minute that they weren't even compatible. She certainly doesn't know a good thing when she sees it. Jerry has the whole package; the looks, manners and character. Jerry, you may call me anytime!!

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY I VERY MUCH ENJOY WATCHING THIS SHOW. MY FAVORITE SERIES WERE AARON, TRISTA, AND JEN!!!!
dylan717 06/23/2004
I think the show is great, but the Trish part was set up. I hate to think it is all staged. I like it when is seems more real. It does need to have different part because after a while it is all the same. I hope you can make it as fun as it was in the first shows. Keep them coming they are great, just need a litte change. Change is good....
bachelorettelo veer2 06/19/2004
I love the Bachelor/Bachelorette. I am addicted!!!! Keep them coming!

Some people tend to think that Jesse Palmer has picked his future wife. Rest assured, he had no intentions of doing so. He did this for a little extra fame and money. The guy is a good looking NFL quarterback who has had signficant tv exposure. Do you think he's going to settle down now, at 25? I would highly doubt it. The 2 girls that it came down to were the 2 that the network thought would draw the best ratings.
Ms.Canada 05/20/2004
This show was one of my favorites, but now it is turning out to be not so classy. I cannot believe that Jessica was chosen after Tara was totally misled by Jesse. Its Jesse loss if he did not pick Tara. She is such a great girl who is not like the other girls who were all over him. The simple fact she was brought up so well by her parents so guarded just tells you her class. Jesse you have no idea what a great mistake you have made chosen a 21 yr. old student who has nothing to offer to you. Time will tell...you did not make the right choice!
msattitude 05/20/2004
I thought that the way they chose to end this show was shameful and disrespectful to the (losing) girl, Tara. It was awful to show Jessica B watching , what should have been a more classy good-bye, from a window. After all, wasn't Jesse Palmer supposedly falling for both of them at some point?? Shame on you producers for allowing the order of which the ladies get out from the limo to change, to better create the element of surprise. A simple edited earlier on... would have sufficed.
DONNA GERKEN 05/20/2004
I am 57 years old and just love this show. I liked the first couple more, when it seemed to be more natural and not scripted, but would not miss it.
sugrbabes22 05/15/2004
I love watching the Bachelor! Just I think its getting a little set up. The last episode with Trish was so set up....it was stupid. I know you guys had to put something on the previews to get people's attention but still. I also heard that it was staged for Mandy Jay or whatever about her pagent stuff. That her mom had to take it out of the attic and put it out. I dunno...just a little comment. Maybe make it more real.
countrygirl66 05/15/2004
Me and my husband love watching this show. Sometimes the girls get carried away, like Trish, she just needs to get over it, sounds like she is a very spoiled brat, that needs to get a life. The way she acts, I feel sorry for the man she marries, he'll live in misery ! Thanks :)
concernedgirl 03/26/2004
i think this show is unfair to black men why don't they have a chance to be on this show and pick from alot of black women i have not seen a black man on this show yet are they not allowed whats the deal aren't we suppose to allow people of all races to get a chance or is this show for a certain race
homemom2004 02/16/2004
Lanny needs to be the next bachelor. His strong family connection with his Christian upbringing, I feel, was the reason he didn't get a rose. Lanny seemed to have the morals and values needed for the next show.
K. Kennedy 11/20/2003
The show was great as always and the world already loved Bob. However, I think the world wanted Kelley Jo to win. I think they made a more compatible couple. Kelley Jo should be offered the next Bachelorette show, as I think the world now loves her in the same manner as they did Bob,
LaurenEJ 11/19/2003
Ok this show use to be a 5...but OMG Bob what were you thinking? The only word I can even think of to describe Estella is...ICK! Hope your mother is happy.

I started following this program when all of the woman showed up the first night. I did not feel taht it was fair to rate or judge before veiwing. As of last nights show, I am so very disappointed that women are flaunted again in such a terrible light. Being a Christian, this is such a demeaning way for both parties to select a mate. What happened to God's plan?? The women are dressed in an inappropiate manner thoughout, they are showing and expressing their desires for material gains, there is gossip, backstabbing and hypocrisy that is unbelievable. He is an attractive man with a monetary means to be able to find someone without displaying himself in such a derogitory manner. What have we come to? I surely hope that this is not the future of our lives or our television programming. This really is a shame. It embarrasses me to be woman. Thank God I waited for the man He choose for me.
mikeholly93 04/23/2003
A fun reality show to watch which is why i'm shocked that so mant people have a grudge against the show since they gave it terrible ratings. The women are very pretty. However, I will like the next Bachelor to be a man whose name starts with the letter M, maybe a man named Mike, instead of a man whose name start with the letter A like the three bachelors Alex, Aaron, and Andrew.
drlaws 04/04/2003
I like this show. It is like watching the Miss America pageant, and I have always loved pageants. I like to pick my favorite. By the way, I think Charlie on Bachelorette is a cutie pie, and I hope he eventually agrees to be the next Bachelor. P.S. the only TV I watch are a few dating reality shows and the all news channels! It used to ONLY watch the the all news channels. I hate regular TV. Never seen any of the sitcoms or dramas on the air currently. (Except of course Seinfeld--I like this)
appauled 02/22/2003
I can't believe all the negative comments about this show . I thought it was great!!!!! . What is the diffrent between someone trying to find a compatable mate compared to a murder show ,or a money hungy person eating bugs . I watched all the shows and loved every one of them. Something better to talk about than the war and wondering if we going or not . That's depressing . Im sure if all the negative viewers where wined and dinned they wouldn't say anything . I can't believe the woman who called the woman whores !!!!!. What kind of a mother is she . I know ,she is the kind that thinks what she puts in the toilet doesn't stick hehehehe!!!!! I can't wait for the next shows to come .....
gussie2000 02/20/2003
Being my age, 50, and having gone through relationships, and knowing how hard they are to start and keep going, I want to state that your company makes the ongoing "new" relationship very hard to keep up. You keep these new lovers apart and in the media (Enquirer Mag.for example) when they should have some private time together to build up a fragile relationship without a camera in their face and make the relationship stronger. The only one that has worked out is the one where the girl makes a choice. The guys have now disappeared from their "chosen mates" to others. Obviously the girls are more serious than the guys! I see the guys looking for a nice piece of a--- and the camera in their face.

Is anyone surprised that Aaron and Helene have already split? Come on once the bright lights have dimmed and these people go back to their real lives-- reality sets in.. and you realize that you are not in love. I bet Trista's relationship will probably not last either (The Bachelorette)
ClassicTVFan47 01/30/2003
Didn't television learn ANYTHING from the Who Wants to Marry a Multimillionaire DISASTER? Serve up a supposedly "smart" dupe and it aquires a bunch of so-called "class???" Forget it. Where's the escapism, the good role models, the UNREALITY?
LoneUSFullHous eFan 01/27/2003
Just what every guy wants, 25 of his girlfriends sharing a room talking about him. Potential death trap? In other words, trashy and unrealistic.
callmetootie 01/13/2003
AWFUL reality series, with no momentum or emotions to show, despite the fact that there is supposed to be romance.
Mynameisjonas9 97 01/04/2003
THESE PEOPLE ARE SHALLOW STUPID PRETTY PEOPLE, JUST BARBIES AND A KEN. YOU CAN'T TAKE THIS SHOW SERIOUSLY. Anyone on that show is a match for the man, they are all too stupid to be with anyone else.
Fredwah 12/14/2002
How could he not pick Gwen?????
M87ROB 12/13/2002
Disgusting!!!! This show and all of the other reality shows are nothing but junk TV for idiots who don't have a life or anything else better to do than to watch some idiot screw a bunch of sluts.
AmyJ 11/26/2002
Even though this form of dating seems to be a totally hollywood production and not believable I think having a guy that is truly a nice guy makes the out come even more exciting and I wish them the best.
bella1 11/26/2002
I admit it, I watched almost the entire show. It was so terrible that I became hooked. However, I will not watch it in the future. Those women should think so much more of themselves then to compete for a guy who seemed to want a girl to fit his resume. That is why he picked Helene isn't it. I mean Brooke -absolutely PERFECT for him. Loving, thoughful, sincere. I could almost feel her genuiness through the TV screen. She seemed like a wonderful and fun person who deserves so much more! In the end he said they were not at the same place in their lives-well, he could have said that from the beginning-she didn't age 6 years since the show started. I think when it came down to it, he really would have loved to be with Brooke, however he needed a girl who would fit his status in life. Oh, and how can a guy kiss a girl who talks through each kiss, if I were a guy that would drive me crazy! Helene seems very fake, very snobby and high maintanence, I think Aaron was very blind, but he'll find out. To all women-treat yourselves better don't demean yourself, love is not a competition-its love!

I am a Bachelor Junkie. I love this show. It is awesome.
tomora 11/21/2002
I feel for the women in the Bachelor they fall in love too quickly with the young bachelor and his money. To the Bachelor he needs to understand that women are more emotional than men. He needs not take that lightly. He needs to be understanding and genuine to all the women on the show. Tomora
qsm1 11/21/2002
I am one of the morons who watched this show to its finale. Apparently, the behind the scenes show must have been dramatically different than what was televised. Why else would a man choose such a high-maintenance, manipulative, fashion nightmare with a laugh that makes you want to jump off a building. At first I thought it was kind of romantic, but I am ashamed to have been part of the viewing audience.
Woman51960 11/21/2002
I think the BACHELOR last night made the wrong decision. I have been watching the show since the beginning. I immediately thought Brook and him were "soul mates" since the first show. I never expected him to pick Helene. Wow--what a shock! Poor Brooke-I think she knew she was the one for him all along too.
dustycat1104 11/21/2002
The show was great but I was disappointed in the end result. I did not like Helene from the beginning and was devastated for Brooke. I just finished watching them this morning on Good Morning America and Brooke was so sweet and gracious and even congratulated Aaron and Helene. Trista didn't do that after the last show. And speaking about Trista, I can't wait for the Bachelorette. Bring it on!!!
fourkids4 11/21/2002
This show is the most degrading show to women Ive ever seen!. I makes me furious that these whores would even agree to go on this show. Women have come so far inthis country, now it seems we are making giant strides backward. As the mother of three daughters I am truly appalled!. Last night on TV two aout of three choices were Horribe. Bachelor and the Victoria secretfashion show ... GAG ME!!!Any one who watches thes shows..especially women.. should be ashamed! They are contributing to the degradation of their own gender!
donlynnie 11/20/2002
ok let's talk.... I give major kudosto the show for the best ratings grabber ever....it apparently beat the who shot JR episode...why... think about it it was the only one that really was an unpredictable ending... as much a s we thought we knew it all after all the gimmicks since then on TV Could she be any less enthused...it was less enthusiam than bagging "the biggest game" during hunting season....any woman who went through this so called "reality" process on national TV shouldhave been screaming, crying. shaking. Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jacksons kiss was more ethusiastic than their kiss...not saying muchnow , HUH! Cons: the snicker (giddy annoying laugh), the interegating brothers(how trite), bad dressing(my turkey "dressing" is more appealing)
BellaLeanne 11/20/2002
I cannot believe that this is what we have resorted to!? Are these women that desperate that they are all crying over this guy? A guy they literally met 6 weeks ago? These women need a lesson on security and self esteem. I wonder if it would have been the same reaction if the bachelor was a normal guy, making $50,000 a year? Kind of makes you wonder where the morales are and where the gold diggers turned out. ABC should be ashamed of themselves! Are they that troubled for ratings.
HollyWatts 11/18/2002
I truely love this show. I find it VERY addicting!!And I am SO looking forward to find out how it ends!
Bludragonflyy 11/15/2002
Out of all the stupid reality shows out there, "The Bachelor" is definitely the worse. It's so fake and sick. I really feel bad for all the people out there who waste their time watching it. They obviously don't have any better way to spend their time, which is sad.
mollyyang 11/14/2002
i think that Aaron made a big mistake for not giving Gwen a rose, because I think Gwen would be a great wife because she is a mature woman who knows what she wants. It is sad hearing Aaron said he didn't pick her because he thinks she doesn't like him that much, but I think that Gwen like him a lot, just that she doesn't show it as much as the other girls. I respect and she deserves someone better, if he doesnt see the good in her.
appbabe 11/14/2002
It's not brain surgery...but it is light hearted and fun...Plus it brings out the catty woman in me>>. Meeeowww!
