I would obviously NOT use this for deer. I might use it on small squirrels. That is only if they are not charging me. I don't think this caliber would stop a charging squirrel!

This is my favorite varmint round currently, i think that will change once i start reloading for my .22-250. but right now, it is pretty cheap as well as very accurate, i have a marlin 917 VS, which has a heavy stainless steel bull barrel, and topped off with a 4-12 scope, it will reach varmints beyond 200 yards, and it is very effective on squirrel.
