i like to look at the gowns but mainly i like to read about the places to go on a honeymoon.

Really, how many people can throw weddings like most of the people in this mag? Mostly ads for bridal stuff.

Let's be honest, this is not a magazine. It is a 300 page advertisement for the bridal industry. This is not really a bad thing as a bride can get an idea of what kind of dress she wants and check out bridesmaid dresses. There is an article about every 40 pages and usually consists of what to buy and select when and how to send out invitations and pick out towels. Serves a purpose, I guess but I'd rather not pay 5 dollars for a stack of ads.

This magazine has many tips and tricks about planning a wedding and getting good deals on stuff. The only problem is they don't have enough pictures of dresses.

When I got engaged, I got every freakin' Bridal magazine under the planet, I must have 30 of these magazines (I am a packrat and haven't thrown them away yet and I was married in '96). It was fun to leaf through, check out the styles, ideas etc..however, looking back I don't think I used a single idea that I read in those magazines. It was fun though, and I guess is some rite of passage women go through, having to buy these overpriced magazines while organizing their wedding. They do have some interesting cake designs and articles about preparing for your big day. Not necessary to read while your planning your wedding, but it is fun
