Now I can appreciate a magazine like this. It's not all "glitter and glamour", and caters to women from all walks of life. Of course, it touches on fashion, but that's fine because it gives helpful cleaning/cooking (etc.) tips, and touches on a variety of other topics that women in general can relate to.

this one always has some good ideas for different things. there is a variety of subjects that are in this one.

My well-meaning mom gave this to me when I was pregnant. I certainly appriciate the gift, but this magazine drives me nuts. There are no articles that require any thought and usually revolve around walking off weight, talking to your doctor and stretching the grocery bill. Also, before I can even read it, I have to clean it out by removing the twenty or so annoying ads for china plates and elastic pants. The recipes are OK since I enjoy cooking but I would much rather have a subscription that does not make me feel like my life consists of just making cute crafts with my kids and getting freaked out about menopause.

They have really good holiday crafts that you can do w/ your kids (or alone) and they also have great recipes too. I only buy this during the holidays.

I read the magazine for the articles, the craft ideas (holliday stuff mostly), and even recipes, but come on with the number of advertisments. I know they pay for them and they are needed to make a profit, but this magazine is not cheap! Have a little more black and white and less, tampon advertisments.
