The first one actually was kinda good but they lost me when we they came out with "I still know what u did last summer"...."I really still know what u did last summer"....oh yeah and "I'm not kidding! I really do know what you did last summer"...overkill!!!

i am watching it on tnt right now. it isn't the best movie though. soundtrack rocks!

Mediocre slasher. Nothing special here. 2 and a half stars. Recommended for anyone who likes boring movies.

i like these kind of horror movies where you try to figure out who the killer is and why. its also one of those movies that has parts where you just sit on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next

Okay, really this doesn't qualify as horror, but it was listed here so here I go: It is predictable in parts (although I was somewhat surprised Buffy got slayed); the acting is good in places and the set was pretty decent, although there are no places in North Carolina like the ones they used in the movie; scare factor= 2 out of 5; the ending got to be a bit much; this fisherdude kills everyone with the greatest of ease but he can't catch Jennifer (my boobs are showing) Hewitt aboard the fishing boat? Come on! It's a teen flick, which it did well among, and the cleavage shown throughout helped bring in the hormone-raged boys in (and Buffy in shorts helped too). Still, not real horror.

"I know what you did last summer" was OK. Nothing really special, and quite bad in comparison with "Scream". The acting was mediocre, and the plot was not very origional. The sequel was much better.

...And I don't care... Not scary AT ALL. Nice eye-candy in Buffy and JLH. Other than that, it's a nice big plate of crapola.

One of my person favorite horror movies, much better then most others before it on this list. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Anne Heche are the stand outs of the show, stealing every scene that they are in. Probably wasn't the smartest thing to waste all their amunition on a knock out chase scene between Gellar and the fisherman killer, which leaves you on the edge of your seat throughout, and leave nothing for the climax. Still a great film, with lots of pretty people!

This movie sucks! The only reason anyone went to see it is J.L.H. Who did a good job. In an all around bad movie. Truly just a pop fad movie.

I...I just don't understand why anyone would give this over one star. Why people cheered for such an atrocity. Scare factor - 0 Suspence factor - 0 Likeable character factor - 0 bad guy you can at least root for because the charactors and actors all suck so bad and add to the overall poonessity of this peice of teeny bopper bubble gum bullsh*t of a movie factor - 0. Usually if a slasher flick sucks there is at least is a killer to kill off the dorkass teeny kids. In this movie the killer is as big a loser as the kids he's trying to kill! He gets hung up on a fishing net? He kills everyone with such ease but can't even catch Jennifer Love Hewitt on his own friggin boat? AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! This is complete and utter poo! Where are you Michael Myers? Where did you go Leatherface? Where is Norman Bates? These movies are makeing our horror fans stupid! This is not horror! It is marketing! It is makeing money of the naive and makeing fans out of idiots! But who am I to say. It could be somebodies American Beauty or Exorcist. Anyway, Jennifer Love has definatly mastered the art of the sacred push up bra. Lovely clevage dear. Wish I could say the same for the acting. I'd rather watch teen wolf 2. Maybe.

it was unbelievable how terrible this movie was. this movie might have been good if i were a twelve year old who fantasised about jenifer love hewitt and had never seen a movie in my life.it was as about as suspensful as my grandmother eating mashed potatoes through a straw.and whats the deal with the story? what, did they not have a plot so they twisted what ever story they had enough so that it makes no sense and it seems like your fault for not getting it? i gave it two stars because the movie is a great example of how not to make a horror movie.

It's almost embarrasing how bad this horror movie was, because it was liked by teenagers and the critics. Jennifer Love Hewitt was totally silly and unstable in her role, and the rest of the cast was too tired and craweled throughout the whole film.

This movie was just bad ass. Not too too scary but just enough. and entertaining.

This movie made me jump in terror. There were moments when I was so scared I couldn't even look at the screen.

I thought this movie was a big bite off Scream. The chicks were cool, but the storyline sucked. If Scream never came out, this movie would have been good.
