Ok film, but the real revenge was on us: the film viewers.

Clearly a HUGE step down from the quality of the first and surprisingly unentertaining. While I find most Nightmare sequels to be senseless, they are at least entertaining (except for this one).

Unfortunatly, all great franchises have one bad movie. Jason had part 8, Micheal had part 3, and Freddy has part 2. The story was bad and the actors sucked!

The worst of the Elm Street sequels, Freddy's Revenge has the same plot as the first film, except now there is a male protagonist. The acting is distinctively horrible in this outing, and none of the humor which made the franchise great is present. Awful. Skip directly to Dream Warriors, the very best of the sequels.

Thank God that Freddy will never be back.

Not too bad for a Freddy Kruger movie, but don't expect too much.

Very lame, but better than the rest of the sequels in the fact that Freddy remains a menacing prescence. He is not a joker with a million goofy backwoods one liners but a man about revenge and slaughter. And Freddy died for real in this one. He should have never come back.
