Very entertaining musical with a fine cast, production, and superb cinematography. Loses a lot on the home television and it was gorgeous on the big screens that were used at the time of its release.

One of the best musical in my opinion. Not only there were lots of good songs, excellent singings, incredible acting by some talented actors, the story itself was quite sexist but I think the point was not to tell the moral of the story, but to portray the way the English culture was really like in the 60's. Lots of good humor througout that the typical Hollywood movies are missing now a day.

I thought it was a little long, but otherwise a good musical.

One of my favorite musicals of all time, and the film version was excellent. Audrey Hepburn did a wonderful job as Eliza Doolittle, and Rex Harrison WAS Henry Higgins, through and through.

MY Fair Lady. What a great movie. Well acted by all and well done. I wish they just would have let Audrey Hepburn sing her own songs. The only down part of the movie is I can tell someone else is singing for her. Otherwise, a terrific movie!

Although the movie is nearly devoid of objectionable content (aside from the occasional profanity), there are two things that absolutely destroy the movie. First, the songs are extremely grating and annoying. Second, the sexism in this production is outrageous. No more is this obvious than the shockingly-inappropirate ending. The ending is completely different than the short story, Pygmmalion, that this 1964 movie is based on. I just can't recommend this production.

One of the most overrated pictures of all time. A bland and flimsy retelling of the second-rate GB Shaw chestnut, featuring two non-singers in the lead roles. That's two strikes against you right off the bat. The score is ho-hum, the plot ludicrous, the acting only passable, and I can't remember the dancing in this film as it was positively unmemorable. Anytime you have your leads talking through their songs (or having Marnie Nixon ghost-singing your part for you), you don't have a musical: you have Recitation Hour with Wallpaper Music attached. Rex Harrison always looks like he's about to pass gas, or just did. And Audrey Hepburn is about as appealling, convincing and attractive as Newt Gingrich. The production values of this big-budget flick are quite good, however, if the art direction and costume design are carrying the show, you don't have much of a show.

Would be 5 if Audrey's vocals had been used.

Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn were excellent. It had its fair share of funny moments. The songs "You Did It" and "Just You Wait" were pretty lousy, however. This one's not as timeless as some others, however. And why didn't Julie Andrews (not that I have anything against Audrey Hepburn, besides the fact that she didn't sing), as Eliza in the film? She was famous for the role on stage, I just never heard why she wasn't in the movie.

My Fair Lady is a wonderful musical! It is just filled with wit and charm. Audrey Hepburn was great for the role of Eliza Doolittle even though her voice was dubbed. Rex Harrison is awesome as Professor Higgins too! You can't really tell that Audrey's voice is dubbed anyway. The ending is a little annoying because it seems that Eliza is being weak to return to Higgins. I think that she loves him though and just wants things to be resolved between him and her. There is nothing wrong with that. I always end up feeling that they will get together after they discuss things a little more though. After all My Fair lady is different from Pygmalion:)

I don't care if they did dub in another singer, Audrey Hepburn was the perfect choice and wonderful as Liza. I couldn't imagine anyone doing a better Henry Higgins than Rex Harrison either. The music is also great fun. One of the last of the big budget, costume musicals is also one of the best.

I liked the plot of how a man tried to make a poor woman into an elegant person. It proves that anyone can become anything they want, if you try. The romance plot didn't hurt it either.

I love Audrey Hepburn and I love old movies. And accents. If you like all that, it's a good movie. The music is typical of a musical, Audrey is stunning. It's got sparks of humor, but the end pisses me off. Weak female, boo!

I really enjoyed "My Fair Lady." Audrey Hepburn was definitely an asset to the movie. Her grace and elegance graced the screen. This is a movie that you can share with a family or a special someone.

Just to start this comment off, I'd like to say that I absolutely LOVE Audrey Hepburn. Once again she had an amazing performance. My Fair Lady is an older film that is a blend of romance, comedy and a little bit of drama. It is a very long movie, 2 movies, in fact, but it goes really quick because it's such an enjoyable movie. To really give you an understanding of how much I liked it. I saw this movie in the 6th grade even and I felt this way aobut it then also.
