08/09/2005 | The People Magazine is a good magazine. It is very informative of the lastest news about celebrities and about what is happening around the country. Some topics can be boring and you just skip over them, but usually everything you read is entertaining. People also has reviews on movies,t.v. shows, books, and music, so if you're looking for a magazine that has the latest scoop and reviews on those four topics, People is the magazine for you. Overall, it is a great magazine that I always look for in my mail and always enjoy.

11/06/2002 | I like reading this magazine, but I don't buy every issue. The only time I buy this magazine is when I see something on the cover that I want to read, especially when it's either Sexiest Man Alive, the Eligible Bachelors issue, Best and Worst Dressed, ot the year-end issue. My favorite parts of the magazine are: the letters section(Mailbox), the TV, book and movie reviews and the Crossword puzzle. And about 90% of the time, I don't care about the human interest stories. BORING!

11/16/2000 | people is truly entertaining... as long as you're not looking for enlightenment it's a great way to spend an hour. my one complaint is i feel like they could calm down a little bit about the royal family. just because they're royalty doesn't mean that they're as interesting as People seems to think. let it go.

09/29/2000 | I won't go as far as some of these reviewers to say that "People" isn't "gossipy"..c'mon now, it is pure gossip. I also won't say it is deeply informative. It is a good magazine to sit down with and flip through if you are interested in celebrities and the so called extraordinary experiences of some normal people. They always have good pictures and decent articles. If you need something to read and look at that catches your interest without having to exert any brain power, pick up a "People" magazine.

06/09/2000 | This magazine furthers my theory that pictures will sell anything. The writing is horrible, the reviews are half-assed and often pessimistic and cocky. The whole piece is a gossiping load of junk. The only reason why it doesn't get a "1" rating is because of there glamor shots of celebrities.

11/18/1999 | No where near as informative as US or Entertainment Weekly. Too many housewives and not enough of the pretty people. I mean let's be honest, we'd rather read about who is dating who as apposed to someone's dog that saved a cat out of a tree or the like.
