Boring, repetetive, lame. The movie was much better believe it or not!

It's been awile since I read this one but I remember really enjoying it when I did. I found it suspenseful, interesting and a little better than the movie.

This was very exciting and very mysterious about a new lawyer who thought he was getting everything he ever wanted in being a lawyer and then found out he is being owned by the firm. He finds out the firms secret and then poof he is the next target to be hunted by his own firm. What a thrill to read but I was very dissapointed by the ending. The Movie ending is a whole lot better than the book ending.

Predictable crap. I read the first 100 pages of this dog and then told a friend who read the whole book how I thought it would end up. I hit the nail right on the head. So much for suspense. The characters were cartoonish, the situations were ridiculous, the entire story contrived, the language of the book flatter than a pancake. I have never attempted to read another book by this moron because this one was so lame.

Grisham presents us with a world of illegality which never seems to end. Therefore in endless anticipation of something else from him.

I'd never actually heard of John Grisham before reading this book, but it instantly made me want to read all of his output. As well as the superb story I was struck by the language - not a single piece of of blasphemous swearing which so often pervades the "trashy" rubbish often encountered in this genre. As a Christian I was overjoyed to find such a writer through this book. Well done, John!!!

This one doesn't even deserve to be on the same list as Jurassic Park! What is with all these damn legal and murder books for thrillers?! Sci-Fi is the only way to go.

My favorite John Grisham novel. The story nicely weaves the reader right into the middle of the conspiracy against the young lawyer. The story finishes nicely and satisfactory. A great weekend read.

I read this book a while ago. I read it right before the movie came out. I really liked it. I knew Tom Cruise was playing the main character so I always pictured his face as the main character which fit the description well. The story was very suspenseful and kept me turning the pages. The story is about a corrupt law firm and how they invade into the main characters (I forget his name)life. It is a good book and the movie does the book justice.

The Firm by John Grisham was a story filled with suspense that kept pages turning non-stop. I love all of his books, but this one stands out above them all.

This book was really good. I can't believe they actually messed up the movie so badly. Leave Grisham novels as they are!
