Bill Waterson rocks, and so does this books, I've loved Calvin and Hobbes since the day I found it in my dads old stuff, it's a shame that Bill waterson quit writing though, but if he hadn't, the Calvin and Hobbes Sunday Pages 1985-1995 would have never been made. Calvin and Hobbes rocks and anybody who doesn't think, doesn't have a sense of humor.

Brilliantly funny. Classical, with a great author. In top ten with peanuts and garfield. Hey callmetootie, you don't know funny if it bit you in the ass. You have no train of thought. If you don't like it don't read it until you get a sense of humor.

Calvin and his crazy antics with Hobbes always remind me that it really is a magical world. They always do crazy stuff together like sledding down crazy snow covered slopes during the winter, and riding down hills in their cart throught the other seasons. The greatest thing about Calvin is that he always says exactly what he feels, and does what he wants. It's comforting to see someone actually being himself and seizing the hell out of every day.

Overall, it's a great comic strip that often combines hilarious humor with deep social commentarty. I've been reading it since I was twelve. While the strip sadly isn't being published anymore, the books are still available.

I did not think that this was funny at all.

And what a pleasure to see elegant and lovely artwork that's witty in itself combined to intelligent dialogue that's belly-aching funny and insightful at the same time. One of the very best.

I never get tired of Calvin & Hobbes. I was heartbroken when Watterson retired. 5 stars to the best comic strip EVER!

Good because the characters are very funny. Calvin always gets into trouble, and tries not to say anything.

Grown with love and life through annual gifts of Calvin and Hobbes. A humorous comic concerning childhood philosophy and outlook on life as compared to society and adulthood. Extremely funny and creative.

Bill Watterson is a comic genius. Any Calvin and Hobbes book is worth owning. I have them all, and they all get fives.

I grew up on some Calvin and Hobbes. I used to love them. I think they are still great. I can probably bet you that there are little kids out there right now that are going through the same thing that I was feeling when I read Calvin and Hobbes.

One of the most philosophically insightful books I have ever read.

I love reading C&H because I feel we all have an inner child that is up to mischief. It is also stories of friendship.

My idols are Calvin and Hobbes. I pretty much modelled myself after Bill W's books.

I collect these books and they are very expensive in Brazil. I don't know why they stopped selling these books. I love the way the author plays with the reality.

Calvin and Hobbes are funny and clever, more than any real boy can be, and his nameless parents bicker- "I offered to buy a dachshund, but NOOO..." Still, it's hilarious and touching, and reminds me of me as the kid I wish I was.

Bill Watterson has a wonderfully rich, yet simple grasp of universeal humor. I'm envious of his artwork, mostly the brush work. I have used the books when I teach anger management classes. I wish he were still drawing.

I think that Calvin and Hobbes only gets a 4 because it was funny, but not that funny.
