I liked this book a lot. I thought it was really funny. But when he gets to recapping the sixties, he gets serious, and sort of bitter. The whole tone changes, but then it comes back again, so it's okay

Dave Barry is hilarious. He has a keen wit with a not so subtle sarcastic overtone. This book is fun reading for everyone, not just those turning fifty. His insights cracked me up, and his comments are reveling. I recommend everything done by Dave Barry.
