Larson was so off the wall it was briliant! One of the few comics that could make me really, really laugh out loud! I miss the Far Side in the papers. I own the galleries though they are great.

The Far Side Gallery is a great collection of Gary Larsen's comics. His humor is specific, and you either love it or hate it. A must-have for his fans.

this book is one of several Gary Larson comics we have He can be real funny. we all have our favortie strips. Sometimes I have to read for a few seconds before I get it. the only complaint I have is he tends to have this tendancy to focus on death a lot.I Still like his comics though.

Far Side is the BEST!!!

The comic strip was good but this book is terrible.

Gary Larson's abstract humor will make me laugh for the rest of my life. I love his unique views on the world and how he can twist any situation, no matter how ridiculous, into a brilliantly funny joke.

The collections of cartoons in this book are quite funny. Many are off the wall and require looking at them more than once to fully enjoy. Some of the really good ones involved continuing story lines from earlier in the book, like Madame C the fortune teller.

Larson is extremely classic. The humor is blatant and even somewhat dry at times, but most people grew up with Larson calenders and comics. When I was a kid I loved reading the comic book daily with all the cows and stuff. Larson always did a good job illustrating humorous human qualities into various animals or handmade objects. I bet he's one hella weird dude.

The Far Side Gallery is a classic that is my favorite children's book. I still have the book and read it to my sisters all the time.

Great drawings. Very good cartoon. Great original sense of humor. Off the wall comedy. Very funny animals.

It's an amusing book featuring pictorials of cynical humor. I find the book quite amusing. It always keeps me on my toes and keeps my interest going. Skimming through the pictorials seems to always liven my day.

Easy reading. Humorous, big pictures. Much like this review, blunt and to the point. Enjoyable to read.

Gary Larson is a genius. His humor is vivid through his cartoons.

I gave it a 5 because personally I think Far Side is just the sh*t and it's funny.

Only gets a 4 because it is not one of his best books. But a classic nonetheless. Gary Larson's ingenious humor turns simple, everyday scenarios into ironic parodies.

Farside is sooo funny and twisted. I really like his drawings.

Like Watterson, Larson is a cartoonist sorely missed by his followers. A sciency, awkward-human sort of humor.

A book in the tradition of the Far Side. I have read this book many times, and it never ceases to amuse me. I recommend it to all.

Some of the best of Larson's cartoons. Since he stopped drawing the Far Side, these collections are all we have of some of the funniest cartoons ever printed, and this is one of the better collections.

This book can make anyone laugh. I don't care where you are from or what age you are, you will laugh. This is filled with page after page of humor. Some can be a little dark (death) and twisted, but there are plenty of lighter comics that anyone will be able to understand.
