 | Mograce2U (4) 09/18/2005 | Joy comes from seeing God work; seeing the truth of His word fulfilled. Answered prayer brings joy. I have experienced the joy of the Lord when I least expected it. It is a confirmation of being in His will. Joy is more than gladness of heart although that is joyous. Joy can be present even when one is sad or grieving. The presence of the Lord is what brings joy in that moment when we become most aware that He is near. Such joy brings thanksgiving and praise to our hearts.

 | Gentle Jude (23) 03/26/2005 | God is the most attractive Person and has everything that a person would want. Eg some people want love and sympathy, and God has that in abundance, and a lot of people like a positive person and hate it when people are negative, well again, God was the very creator of Heaven and joy. There are two types of joy, one being this blissful wonderful feeling that makes you laugh or screem or gives you a burst of energy and the other type of joy is what someone I heard once describe it as, as being a holy ease. It is a happiness that you feel, even when you do tasks that you hate such as cleaning the house, and nothing can take away. It makes you feel positive and helps you to see the bright side of things. Since God is a giver, He wants us to give. The fruit that the Spirit helps you to grow in your life such as love and joy etc is like a fruit tree. All the fruit goes for the glory of God, you are also allowed to eat the fruit until you get full (feeling God's love and being joyful) but the fruit is to be shared amongst other people and generously too. This means you can't just keep all the joy for yourself. When God gives you joy, it is so you can be a blessing to others and make them feel happy too, so thus glorfying God.
