Okay place to grab lunch and a beer (they do have a pretty good menu), but in the evenings it's always way too crowded and the service is pretty spotty. Unless you're going for the food, give Fado a pass and go to RFD next door instead (which is a bigger space with better service and one of the best beer selections in town).

The fado in DC is okay. Great place before or after a game at the MCI center, but beyond that I don't know what to make of it. It's a Fado -- every big city has one now.
