I've only been in Garrett's in the afternoon, so I don't know what the prime time crowd is like, but there was a pretty friendly atmosphere when I was in. The quesadilla I ordered left something to be desired, but the beer and conversation was most satisfactory.

A bit young for me (33). But I can still say from my younger days that this is a good standard bar. One of the better options for the 22-28 corwd in Georgetown.
