Cook's Tour 5

The fact that Food Network canned Anthony,
Rosengarten, and Ming tells you that Food Network has gone cheezy and cheap. This dude is cool, and
what No Reservations shows is that Food Network cans people who REALLY know food. Giada and Mike Chiarello excepted...

I love Tony! His witty sarcasm is hilarious. I wish they had this on dvd or would atleast run a marathon of his show. He's daring and real but has respect for the places he visits. This show rocks!!!

A Cook's Tour is one of the more interesting shows on Food Network. Anthony Bourdain may be coarse, blunt and overbearingly macho, but he is never boring.

Having spent 9 yrs in south and southeast Asia, including 2 as a peace corps volunteer, I totally related to his back alley adventures there. I enjoyed the show so much I had to buy his book, "Kitchen Confidential." The reruns make even more sense now.

This show isn't for everyone, obviously, but for those who like upfront guys who are really honest, yet respect customs of various cultures and doesn't insult his hosts, this is the ultimate. While I wish Food Network would give Bourdain a 3rd season, I don't really think it's the right network for him. I'd like to see him doing this same type of show on Discovery or even PBS. He's such a refreshing change from Emeril and that saccharin-sweet Sara Moulton!

The a-hole host is a sap. Oh yeah, he's daring. Yessir. Hmmm. Let's see him eat crap other people eat. He's from NYC. He's probably had much worse. Garbage.

Gritty, real. Most down to earth and believable show I have ever seen. Tony is my kinda guy, not easy to find on a cooking channel.

I could tell from the commercials that this was a show I would hate.

Tony Bourdain is great! So obnoxious, with his smoking and boozing- gotta love him for not giving a damn what people think! He's pretty brave when it comes to trying gross things, too.
