Somehow people want to watch that fat goober Paula over a true chef. Food Network seems to think Al Roker is more watchable than Ming?

I think he has a good show but I live in the southeast and a lot of the ingredients he has in his recipes are not readily available in a small town. He is very personable. I watch mainly for entertainment value.

His dishes are usually easy to prepare and tasty. I think he does a great job of showing you how to stock your pantry, and how to blend cuisines to put more variety in your cooking.

He usually has interesting dishes that I actually want to eat, which is more than I can say for a lot of stuff I see on cooking shows.
