great chuck gun, mine is a remington model 700 chambered in the .222, and it has open sights and a hooded front sight, it doen't get out much, becuase of the enjoyment that i get out of my .223, that and it has a beautiful stock that i wouldn't be able to live with my self, if i dinged it, hunting wood chucks.
