I was never one to eat breakfast or lunch, so prices were never a concern for me.

It was cheaper and healthier to go to McDonalds for lunch. Trust me, numbah has it right. No telling what the burgers are really made of.

Very frustrating. Very annoying. But it can provide motivation for a greater good- I learned to cook in college because I HATED the food so much. . .

Mmm. Mystery meat.

They weren't expensive but some of the selections were certainly interesting. I remember something we'd dubbed ratloaf.. the contents of which remain a mystery to this day.

Like the liver pate (at least that's what they called it) served at my school. It quite literally had the texture of concrete and tasted even worse.

To be fair, if you don't like the selection, or the price, then there's the option to bring your own. And, honestly, looking at the healthfulness of the foods offered, you're better off bringing your own, anyhow.

This never usually bothered me; I usually got things off the a la carte menus. I thought there was a big enough variety to pick from right on the school grounds, and it tasted fine to me.
