01/28/2005 | When I don't wear Gaynor Mindens(when my shank is not in stock) I wear Capezio Aerials, they lasted 3 weeks for me and that was when I was dancing 6 days a week with 4 hours of pointe each day. Breaking in these shoes should only be done with your feet at the bar as if you shut them in a door, bang them, or use water they will only last one class, which is sad because the first two weeks of the three they lasted I had sore feet from dancing in such hard shoes until the crown lowered on the last week and they were perfect, but only for a week.
