Only if it's a major snowstorm that actually threatens human life. Other than that, I don't worry about it. In fact, I actually like snow.

Can you count the snow flurries?

One thing about Chicago is that the denizens have seen ice, snow, blizzards, and just plain bad weather. Chicago people know how to drive in such miserable conditions.

Yeah this is true in Texas, people panic during snow!

As far as I know Calgary gets the worst of it. Vancouver just doesn't snow much and the rest of the Canada is more or less consistent during the winter. Calgary has this special gift of Chinook which really just f*ck everything up and everytime when there's a heavy snow fall, typical drivers revert back to idiots who think driving at 5 km/hr on a straight road is considered safe.

In my town, where it snows about twice a year, and seldom stays longer than a day or two, this reaches high comedy. Because of the nature of the climate, many denizens of Vancouver don't bother with snow tires, and very few can drive worth a damn. This, added to a large population of former residents of Hong Kong, where snow is illegal, makes for some very entertaining days.
Last year, one station put a camera a the foot of Royal Oak hill in Burnaby, and shot endless footage of car after car sliding down it, piling into the mess of vehicles at the bottom. This despite the police having closed the street, which didn't slow down the idiots who simply drove around the barriers.

Canada is a country of "haves" and "have-nots". Some of us have snow all winter and know how to deal with it and some parts of the country are paralyzed everytime the snow hits the ground and doesn't melt immediately.

This is a three because different geographic locations handle this one differently. DC types (usually type-A driven) seem to wilt and panic under the threat of three flakes falling. And watching the death tolls on the highways of North Carolina (during a rare snowstorm) reminds me that people can be slow learners. (Drive fast on snow = Dead real fast.)

Not much of a problem in the Boston area- it's not as cold as some may think- it rarely gets down to zero, but it's hardly a novelty.

As a long time resident of Washington DC, where the city will shut down for just about any weather-related condition, an impending snow "storm" is good for about a week of panicky news reports. The grocery stores run out of bread! Then there are a few flakes and no accumulation.
