The following is according to my ex-wife, who grew up in northern Canada, where the only television or radio was CBC North, a station known for its eclectic programming, and eccentric reporters she heard a broadcast of Santa's progress over the DEW Line. Then (and she swears this is true) in a voice sounding like he was witnessing the Hindenburg fire, the reporter announced that Santa had been intercepted and shot down by U.S. Fighters....

Ahh. . .forgot about this one. . ."But won't it be easier for the terrorists to track him?" What about keeping intelligence under wraps?

I'm going to go out and say this: I'm actually fascinated by the NORAD tracking Santa thingy.  It's cool.

I hate that they're never honest. He's always in Gabon or Ulan Bator or London, and never being chased down by rednecks in Badger's Ballbag, Misssippi for wearing red and having a beard, which makes him an innerlectual gay Komminist.

As a big NASA fan I eagerly await this. Maybe this year we'll get updates via Twitter...
