Standard holiday media fare when the news cycle hits a low point- especially during post-election blahs.  The amout of credence given to this nonsense is an inverse proportion to the amount of education and experience of the viewer.  Contrary to what the blonde girl on the TV tells you, there is nothing less politically correct than pointing out the little-Pagan-winter festival is really not the holiday of (gasp) everyone. . .

I'm in agreement with Oscargamblesfro; there are some events with political correctness stamped on them but it's not an entire all-out war.

There's some truth to this, there are hipper than thou's and ogres out there...but this is also to a not inconsiderable degree fabricated by people like Bill O'Reilly.

Expect to see this story trotted out again this year...

You'd think with that two ACTUAL wars to report on the culture warriors might give this one a pass.
