This is tiresome. Why dont they show the shoppers out there getting it done in October? Now thats a story!

As predictable as the tides. Every year local newsrooms all around the country run the same story about people making a mad dash to the mall on Christmas Eve to finish their shopping.

As if procrastination is breaking news! These are the same people who wait until midnight on April 15 to finish their taxes!

They never fail to find the hapless goober buying bad gifts...

Who gives a crap about last-minute shoppers?  We all know what they're doing so why report?

every year you can count on this news story. Interviewing those last minute shoppers. You will never see me there.shopping is stressful enough. There will always be those shoppers out there.

One of the local stations in my town has done these live to air a couple of times, treating them with the same seriousness they normally reserve for witnesses of disaster.
