I LOVE THIS SOLID SHAMPOO! The solid shampoos from LUSH are great because you only use as much as you need since it lathers as you rub it on your head. Karma Komba especially has an intoxicating aroma, but don't use it on color-treated hair since it has citrus extracts in it.

I have long, thick curly hair that tangles in a heartbeat. Karma Komba is the only product I've ever tried that DEtangles in a heartbeat - all I do is lather up (and like others said, a little goes a long way) and work it into my scalp. The bubbles work their way down my hair and make it slippery enough to detangle easily. It is honestly like magic. Tip: If you buy two shampoo bars from the LUSH stores, they give you a free tin. Rather than store my shampoo in the tin, I place the bar directly on the rack in my shower and cover it with the tin, which keeps excess water from getting onto the shampoo and causing a mushy effect.

At first I was dismayed because of the size of the shampoo bar, it is rather small. However I found out that a little goes a long way. This shampoo lathers up like you wouldn't believe. They aren't kidding when they say all you have to do is "comb" it through your hair a few times. The size, as it turns out is perfect; fits right in the palm of your hand which makes applying it easier. The smell is fantastic. This shampoo definately smells like patchouli, a scent I love. And Karma Komba cleans your hair really good, a little too well actually, so you need to follow up by using a conditioner afterwards. I used Jungle because I thought the grassy scent would go well with the smell of Karma Komba. One of my reasons for buying this product was because it contains no animal byproducts and isn't tested on animals. The ingredients are all natural and organic. The company (Lush Cosmetics) has a good reputation. I had never tried a 'solid shampoo' before, but thought it would be a good way to cut down on all the wasted packaging you have with typical shampoos in bottles. I highly recommend this product.

This is the product that got me addicted to LUSH. I was on a 3 day camping trip (at the end of a 2 month stay) in northern Sudan and hadn't brought toiletries because SOMEONE said we wouldn't need them because we wouldn't be showering. Turns out we were. Also turns out I was filthy, tired, and very, very grumpy. So, a wonderful, angelic person let me borrow her soap. Her very easily transportable, space saving soap. Specifically, her Karma Komba. It was wonderful. While simply being clean and not having to spend the night in a falling-over tent in the middle of a sandstorm might have had something to do with my improved mood, I suspect the shampoo bar helped too. The smell is wonderful, my hair was squeaky clean (Perhaps a little too squeaky, at least in a dry climate - conditioner is a good choice after this). I bought my own within days of returning to the US.

I had heard about Lush solid shampoos, and had even tried some knock off solid shampoos, but this stuff rocks!! I have long hair, halfway down my back, and it only takes a few swipes down my hair, one on the scalp and wow do I have lather!! The smell is to die for!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS!!
