I've recently been looking for the perfect "volumizing" mascara, I have long lashes but they're a bit thin, and I've tried everything including Covergirl LashBlast, Maybelline XXL, Benefit Big Fatty, Diorshow Blackout, and this one. So far, this one is by FAR the winner. The brush takes some getting used to, but once you master it, WOW. The ultra black is intensely black, adding lots of drama, and it lasts until you take it off at night. This mascara, applied correctly, can be layered and literally produces fake lashes in a tube. Give it a week or so to get used to the brush and this mascara becomes one of the best of the bunch!

This is great mascara. It is dark and thick - goes on nicely and gives an attractive look to lashes. It is a very dark black. It has an unusual brush, but works effectively. Stays on nicely - not clumpy or flakey. Great with contact lenses. Gives nice, thick, dark lashes. I would definitely buy it again!

I ordered this mascara in ultra black because I wanted to try something new. I didn't like the brush at all. It doesn't separate lashes, so I ended up with tarantula eyes the first time I applied it. The next time I applied it, I made sure to not use too much. I only occasionally use it now because I paid full price for it and can't bring myself to throw away a mascara that I've only used a few times. I'd never buy this again. I should have sprung a few more dollars for Fiberwig since it is superior by far!

This mascara is very different from others I have tried that promised to give me volume. The brush looks a little weird at first but basically you put the flatter part of the wand at the base of your eyelashes and then pull it through to the top and then use the more bristle-y side to create length. The only thing I don't love is that it takes a little effort to wash it off.

Have to say it is one of the worst mascara's I've ever bought. To be fair I'm not a fan of liquid liner to begin with, so didn't like this one either.
