A giant hiding in a little body! This is a great addition to your system, I am an avid amateur photog and want to shoot in RAW more often which are huge files but better photos!
I can't find anything wrong with it, it is a true plug n play not plug n pray! I am totally impressed!

We were running out of space on our desktop PC with many more movies in line to go in it. I decided to try an external Hard Drive and could not pass up the price and size of this on.

We received it a few days ago and were like kids tearing open the package to get working on it. (New technology does that to us.)

The ease of use of this product is refreshing. I was a little intimidated in the beginning, but that went away quickly once I began to use it.

I definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs extra hard drive space.

This is my second IOMEGA brand external HD. My other one is three years old, but I filled it up. This one runs noticebly hotter. It comes with a slip-on stand allowing it to be vertical. I recommend it be used in the vertical position to keep it from getting too hot.

I actually paid less for this 500 GB product than I did for the older 250 GB unit. This brand is quite dependable and I have had no problems, even with the hotter 500 GB unit. I have had this newer unit about a month now and it is on 24 hours a day.

It comes already formatted as NTFS and it is easy plug-n-play.

I've had this hard drive for about a month. It's very easy to set up. Easy to use. The on/off button is convenient. I've had no problems so far. The hard drive's usable space is only 465 Gb (not the full 500). I'm not sure how this compares to others. My only beef is that I wish I'd gotten the Terabyte hard drive made by Iomega because I've gotten into video so after just 1 month and hundreds of videos, my 500 GB hard drive is half full.

I purchased and deployed three units recently. I am happy with the performance and clear instructions for their usage.
