All I have to say about yale is why the heck would they invite the Taliban to go to the school. That is kinda ridiculous. Also, they feel that they are better than everyone, when in fact, i learn the same things at a cheaper school.. typical yale students are spoiled rich kids.

Solid from top to bottom!

yale friggin sucks and that's about all there is to say. i went to a trade school and got just as good of an edjumacation than i would have gotten at yale. actually, the next time i see a yale graduate (assuming the graduate is a male) i'm going to bend him over and stick my pee pee up his pooper.

Ok obviously they are not all dumb kids who go to Yale. You cannot make a generalized statement like that and at every school there are kids who get in because of legacy who shouldn't have. By far the worse school with letting people in who deffinitly should not be accepted is Georgetown. I went to Yale last weekend for the first time and absolutely loved it. I am looking to transfer there and if anyone knows of what you need to get in as a transfer please let me know.

I think Yale has moved ahead of John Harvard.
caligula 04/28/2005
I can't speak for the school as I did not attend it. But I will say this- most of the Yale grads I've met have been less than impressive. It seems like a lot of undeserving legacies get through. I'm basing that on my experience in law school, where Yalies generally were in the bottom half of our class and a couple of clueless grads I've met socially.

I love bulldogs. Go Yale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woof woof

Every penny spent on a Yale education is well worth it! Granted, my view on Yale might be a little bias considering I graduated from their a while back, but nevertheless, Yale remains one of, if not the best, schools in the country. Certainly a Yale education is superior to that of one from Harvard but alas, many still believe the absurd notion that Harvard is somehow better. It must be one of those things in our society...

Excellent school ,yet it doesnt carry quite the same clout as Harvard does in the general public. To those who went to college and recognize the qualities of the various universities in the nation, Yale does stand out as an excellent school, but to the everyday guy, the name draws a curious look, like they should know that it's a great school, but dont know exactly why. Yale has produced quite a few politicians and presidents and is Harvard's rival, yet the joke at Harvard is: What do Harvard and Yale students have in common? They both got into Yale.

I just graduated from Yale and it was an incredible four years. I have friends who went to Harvard (which plenty of people I know from Yale turned down by the way - including me) and they pretty much all hated it. Thank God I chose how I did. Seriously, all of them just came out of it depressed and upset, whereas I spent four years chilling with friends, enjoying the resources, and all together lovin' it.

Quoting Thomas Jefferson: To stop where we are is to abandon our high hopes, and become suitors to Yale and Harvard for their secondary characters. Speaking of secondary characters, the intellectually-challenged Bush went there. Enough said.

This is by far my favorite Ivy League school in the U.S. Even though I didn't go here, I think the people that have and still go here are so lucky. I am almost jealous..he he. Go Yale !
captking 07/17/2003
Yale is a great school...the only problem is the excessive pressure to be witty and clever at all times...constantly performing for your classmates to demonstrate your intellectual prowess.
holygrouse 07/01/2003
I give Yale 3 stars based on my own far superior rating system. Each star is emblematic of the sense of inferiority and self-doubt anyone who goes to Yale has to compensate for. A little secret they won't tell you, is that prior to going, everyone gets together to burn their harvard rejection letters. :O oh no he di'ent.
hentai69 06/06/2003
I know dumb bags who go to Yale, just because one or both of their parents went there. It's all about legacy. By the way, take a look at the Bush's family. Little Curious George Jr. (the dumb monster in the oval office) got into Yale with an 1130 on his SAT! What a miracle! Also if you're heading there as a new student, tell your parents to buy you a bullet proof vest. It's worst the investment!

the kind of people you meet, and the academics options that are available are amazing. This school is in a league of it's own..

Horrible Engineering program, and the physical sciences are second rate.

the best next to harvard!!

Yale is without a doubt one of the best places to spend four years. I am a senior here. Yale is tough, intense, and can really give your self-esteem a good kick in the pants. But, its faculty and student body are not only brilliant but also deeply understanding, kind, profoundly comitted to everthing they do, and incredibly diverse. If you want to meet people who will inspire you to live life without regrets, come to Yale.
RJS383 08/05/2002
As a sophomore at Yale, I can honestly say that Yale is an amazing school! Academically it is one of the best schools in the country. Additionally, the student body is friendly, diverse, and brilliant! I would highly recommend Yale to any student who is looking to attend an amazing, challengingcollege. Also, don't believe everything that is said about New Haven. New Haven has lots of great restaurants, and it is only about 90 minutes away from NYC!
samoht 01/04/2002
bad location plus they suck at sports
harvardanon1 12/13/2001
Easily the best undergraduate college in America. Caltech is tied at #1, Princeton and MIT in the second-tier, and WUSTL, Dartmouth, and Harvard in the third tier.
nerd123456 04/22/2001
Yale is at least a hundred times better than Harvard...
janocomp 03/12/2001
Only dumb people go there
Johnny Ramone 02/22/2001
All the kids that go to Yale all think they're king. Little do they know that Yale stands for "You Always Lose Everything!"
BESO 01/23/2001
Does Yale require any training at all for its graduates in the sciences? Wm. Buckley seems not to understand scientific methodology, while Pat Robertson actually expounds the ignorance known as creationism. The new president seems to be in a vapor concerning any knowledge of science. Are the biology courses at Yale dealing with critical biological concepts? Are the courses at Yale as good as mine was at a California community college? I would be embarrassed to have ex-students such as George W. and the ignorant Mr. Robertson.
JASMINE GONZALEZ 01/15/2001
I'M IN 8TH GRADE AND WHEN I GET OUT OF HIGHT SCHOOL I WANT TO GO TO A GREAT COLLEGE. HOW DO I KNOW IF YALE IS FOR ME! I LOVE TO PARTY.
kmme6888om 05/23/2000
Unquestionably the best school in the country. Don't believe all of the stories about New Haven. It is actually a great town (with far better restaurants in the immediate vicinity than Harvard Square!) Amazing classmates, World famous professors (who actually talk to you!), and a low-pressure, diverse social life--what more could you ask for?
Ruby 02/26/2000
Big strikes against Yale: 1) New Haven; 2) its a breeding ground for elist leftist types (Bill + Hill, for ex.)
ccku3538du 01/03/2000
Yale people are intelligent yet still know how to party.
ehug3209du 12/17/1999
Yale is so much better than Harvard and Princeton.
drha2777om 12/10/1999
Everyone I know who goes there is stupid.
minou30 12/01/1999
What is Yale?
adri1886du 11/27/1999
Well, I'm a sophomore at Yale, and everyday I'm amazed at what goes on around me. The people, academics, campus, opportunities are simply phenomenal. Plus we are co-Ivy football champs this year! As for New Haven, its problems are grossly exaggerated.
bkiv671du 11/01/1999
Yale is an even better college than Harvard!
LVAL292OM 10/26/1999
Yale would probably be 5 for academics, but ever heard of New Haven Thunder? (gun shots all night)
