A class action firm Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating allegations that Gaiam aluminum water canisters have tested positive for high levels of the toxic chemical bispenol A (“BPA”).

I have owned this bottle for a little over a week. I really like the look of it. My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to get the cap to screw back on. If you don't have the exact angle, you may have to start over a couple of times. I've gotten used to what I need to do, but I considered returning it on the first day.

I got the green grass one on clearance from a store a while back. I constantly get compliments on it (I use it at work). The bottle looks great and there is no weird taste from the metal. My only complaints are that it's kind of a pain to wash out (even in the dishwasher), and that the screw cap is kind of annoying (I just leave the cap off altogether for work). Great bottle for my use though!

As a loyal Gaiam customer, I was pleased to see their offering of Aluminum Water Bottles. Great colors and designs. I recently read on a blog that Gaiam will introduce a Stainless Steel bottle in January. Sign me up!!
