Tide Coldwater seems to shrink your clothes. I noticed this after washing my dockers a number of times in it and couldn't figure out why they were now floods. My wife's golf shirts are so small she can no longer wear them. I contacted Tide and was told that many factors could cause this. These clothes had been washed dozens of times in warm water and regular Tide with no shrinkage issues. Washing twice in cold water with Tide Coldwater and the clothes have definitely shrunk.

The only problem is that traditional detergents are not made to be dissolved under low temperature. This product is the solution! It is designed to be dissolved in cold water. I have been washing my clothes using Tide Coldwater for the last 2 years . I can't tell you if the color of my clothes are brighter, but I assure you that it did everything traditional detergents can do.

My only complaint about this purchase is that you are not getting a discount buying it on Amazon. It does however saves you the energy of carrying it back to your house! (Hey, another saving!)

I do alot of fishing & have found Tide coldwater liquid detergent to work just as well as all the other detergents that require warm or hot water. Also according to professional reviews, I will save an average of $60.00 dollars a year on my gas bill. Thats more money to go fishing with!!

Tide Coldwater is really good, I use it with Borax (Twenty Mule Team)
and it works like magic on bright and pastel colors. I recommend.
