Classic. A great read.

One of my favorite childhood books. A story about the unusual friendship btween a pig named Wilbur and a spider names Charlotte. Wilbur is pretty down because he was sold to farm and taken away from his human friend Fern. Charlotte befreinds Wilbur and starts getting the attention of others by writing nice things about him in her spider web.such as terrificthis gets Wilbur a lot of attention. I like this book because it is about friendship and pulling together for one another.

Fine, for what it is. A simple parable, competently told.

IT WAS TO WEIRD FOR ME

I read Charlottes Web when I was little and loved it, it is so swweet and I loved Charlotte and now I woder about spiders when I see them - sad eh?

Timeless, ageless classic!

Didn't enjoy it at all

One of the true greats in children's literature. I really loved this book. I read it before seeing the movie, and it was very well written. E.B. White has a gift for writing children's stories.

I really enjoyed Charlotte's Web. It is such a great classic novel for children. It has a good setting, on a farm with animals talking. Wilbur, survives with the help of his spider friend, Charlotte. She ends up writing positive messages in her web, about Wilbur, to prevent anything bad from happening to him. I like to cry for joy in the end; although Charlotte perishes, she brings her "masterpiece" in this world, hundreds of spiders, and some stay with Wilbur, he takes great care of them, and builds new friendships.

I love this book, but it makes me sad when Fern stops paying attention to Wilbur and spends all her time with that boy.

E.B. White had a talent for telling wonderful children's stories.

You may have heard good things about Charlotte's Web, but it is in fact an extremly silly and confusing book, that takes forever to get anywhere. The whole entire idea with a talking pig is extremly goofy, although it was well told in Babe. The only reason why you may want to get aqquainted with Charlotte's Web is if you wanted to see the movie, whihc was very well animated.

Wonderful tale that displays an intelligence, depth, realism(death) and compassion that so many children's books are sorely lacking.

Teaches children about friendship and how to care for other people. When you read the book you experience life through a pig named Wilbur and his friend, Charlotte the spider.

This is a story I have enjoyed my whole life. I remember reading this interesting, well-crafted tale with my best friend Shelli, between the ages of 9 and 11. I have read this wonderful story to all seven of my children. It is a kind, compassionate tale that inspires imagination and encourages independence.

I always used to read "Charlotte's Web" aloud to my classes of second-graders, and they absolutely loved the story. While many of them had seen the movie, very few had read the book. E.B. White's staggering talent always made a huge impression, and the kids grew very attached to all of the characters by the end of the story. I guess I did, too, because I always got a bit choked up as I read about Charlotte's fate! One year I took my class to see a play based on the book, and we all agreed that nothing could beat actually reading it.

This is my 4 year old daughter's favorite book. Classic!

A great book that still makes me cry after all these years.

Shows children that they can succeed . And the proccess of team work. It also shows negative things like sloth and talking things or someone down.

My kid enjoyed this book, and I enjoyed reading it to him.

One of reasons I look forward to someday having kids is to get to read this one aloud again. What a great story. They also did a great job with the cartoon movie version. Charlotte rules!

This was one of my favorite books as a child. It's one of those timeless classics that is fun and memorable!

Charlotte's web is an exciting place to go to

I have used this book i n my reading classes at school, and my grandchildren love it, as well as the movie. Great for kids!

I don't think a better children's book has ever been written.
