Quieteye 2.4 Child Monitoring Software 4

I bought the software a year or so ago.I liked it..the only problem was when I had a problem with my PC..I had to re-format.I re-loaded Quiet Eye and uninstalled several times..It keeps getting an error message.I emailed the company..and to this day...no response!

Quieteye 2.4 Child Monitoring Software 3

While waiting for the Quieteye software to arrive, I had installed a trial version (unstealth) of PC Tattletale. I guess I got spoiled because PC Tattletale captured incoming e-mails, screenshots, and keystrokes, so I assumed the others would too. I ordered the Quieteye because it came on a CD and the other was only offered as a download (I prefer to have the CD - and it was slightly cheaper).

I installed Quieteye on one of my children's computers, and it ran fine. But, it only captures the keystrokes and screenshots, not any incoming e-mails. The other day my child got an e-mail from a friend that contained information we were concerned about. I saw the e-mail before it was deleted and spoke to my child about it. However, if I not seen the e-mail I would have never known about it because the software did not keep it.

Also, it takes screenshots of the screensaver. Something the other software did not do (and takes a lot of time to review). I feel QuietEye needs to capture the incoming e-mail and not take screenshots while the screensaver is running.

The other computer I tried to load it on kept giving me a "not enough RAM" message and would abort the installation - even though that computer exceeds the minimum specs for the software. I e-mailed QuietEye (the only way to get support) and they have not responded yet.

The other poor reviews below are true too. Unless you have the screen resolution set just right (you'll have to mess with it a bit) the hide button is "hidden" - ironic, huh? - and your only option is to close / turn off the software. Who wants to be forced to have tiny icons on their desktop to use the software?

Hope this helps you make an informed decision. I personally found it very hard to decide on an internet monitoring program but am going with PC Tattletale because it is so much better.
