I have had my share of computers and monitors and the HP w2207 is by far the best monitor I have ever owned. The clarity is awesome, pictures and videos are displayed in vivid detail and color spectrum is just awe inspiring. There are multiple settings but I have never touched them, right out of the box this monitor set its self up, just turn it on and go! The added bonus of a two socket USB hub on the side of the monitor just adds to its great functionality and style. Just plug it in to your computer and now your ready to plug in any USB device on your desk without the wires running everywhere. Plus it has built in speakers but I like my volume turned way up some times and my desktop speakers and sub-woofer complete my system where in my opinion monitor speakers never really quite cut the mustard. This is really a great monitor and one of the best for this kind of money. If you are thinking or double thinking this monitor, just buy it and try it, you'll love it guaranteed!

I just love this monitor! I have a smaller monitor at work, and really miss the extra screen space available, 1680x1050 is just a LARGE screen. I can really get a lot of windows/information in there, and with a two-port USB hub, it's just icing on the cake by bringing adding a more convenient place to add USB drives, and not requiring you to have the case next to the monitor and/or having to access inconveniently placed (rear) USB ports.

Another one of the reasons I purchased this is that it can be "rotated" and becomes a 1050x1680 monitor, making it just the best monitor to use when working with documents, allowing you to see the whole page. I also use it as an entertainment display with a computer and a DVD-ROM drive, it is just awesome to watch movies. The colors are great, and it doesn't miss a beat compared with any HDTV.

I have 4 other moniters, but the HP w2207 is the nicest I've ever owned.The speakers suck, but I don't use them anyway. I'm going to buy another one, because all my other moniters look sick in comparison.

I have had the W2207 for about a year now. All I have to say is the picture it produces it beautiful. Usually, when I have something nice I get used to it and don't appreciate it as much. Not with this monitor, I never get used the awesome picture it out puts. It also makes my linux system look really cool.
On a side note, when I first bought this I was worried about a glare problem since the surface of the screen is shiny. Since I have had this, I have had no problems with the glare what-so-ever!

I am so happy with my decision to purchase this monitor using amazon.com. I got the monitor at a steal of a price, and it was in amazing condition even though it was supposedly previously used. I couldn't be happier! Thanks amazon.com
