Not only is this an outstanding monitor, it is a great value. Compare this to the Samsung HDTV's and see how much a 26" runs, without the great monitor function. I own 2 Samsung HDTV's and this is the third Samsung monitor I now own. I used to be a big Sony fan, but most Samsung products are now much better in my experience. If you are ready to spend this much money on a monitor, I don't see how you can do better.

I bought this model last Monday and have had the opportunity to test it out. First, the HDTV attributes. All the HD feeds I have watched looked great on this TV (especially the feeds from Discovery and NBA on TNT, they had me stopped in my tracks!). As I have this monitor in a small bedroom, those 1080i signals look amazing, even on a small screen. The 720p stuff looks great too, and the SD broadcasts are definitely watchable. Second, the LCD monitor attributes. I tested my mid-2008 midline macbook (white) using the mini DVI to VGA adapter. The text on several websites (facebook, iGoogle, Gmail) were clear for me, and a test of Hulu's HD stream of 30 rock looked almost as good as the NBC broadcast. As soon as Netflix starts streaming HD on PC/Mac, I plan on using this monitor for watching streams from them, otherwise it looks grainy and noticably low-res (which isn't the monitor's fault). Overall, well worth what I considered a low price point, and is for me a great entry-level HDTV for a small to medium sized room!

I got it a month ago and had it working within a few minutes with both an antenna and cable hookup. Going through all the setup to get the best quality was more time consuming. Good picture and sound. We use it in our bedroom and have it sitting on top of my armoire with a home-made stand to hold it looking down. It is only about 25 pounds so it is not a big deal. 1. However, there is no easy wall-mounting solution. 2. Also, the channel info display is so small, I have trouble adjusting the set with the remote. 3. The picture is not super bright. These are the reasons why I gave it a 4-star rating

First of all I just want to say that I am one of those buyers who who really researches products when they are in this price range and higher and I was still nervous about my desicion once I ordered it. However I have to say that this monitor is an absolute dream and I am so glad i went with it. The picture quality is amazing both for HD and PC. I have had no problems with it and i use it for all that it is capable of (360, Pc and HDTV) Some people said they had bad pixels and that it would not awaken when the pc came out of sleep mode but I have encountered none of those problems and I think the sound quality is great but I use my Logitech Z-5500's often(wich i also purchased here for a great deal) with it because of the optical hook up. If i could afford 2 more of these I would buy them in a heartbeat. So if your sceptical about making a decision I just want to say that I felt the same and now I am so glad I decided with this.

I am very pleased with Samsung model T260HD . It is the best Monitor/HDTV that I have had yet . The only games that I play on this monitor is Flight Simulator X and it is not really a game but a learning tool . I find the picture quality is very good and very fast which is needed for this software . As for watching HDTV it could not be any better . This HDTV only has a Digital Tuner but that will be all that is needed in the future . I do have a DVD player/Tuner hooked up to this HDTV as well but choose not to watch TV in analog .
