I have always enjoyed trail running, in fact its the only kind of running i can tolerate on a mental level. The problem being i have never had running shoes that would put up with the abuse on my feet on a daily basis. Specifically, i would get hot spots on the inner side of my foot from the shoe rubbing. I always thought it was the type of running and way i ran that cause my feet to rub in the shoe. So i went on a mission. I bought a pair of these Brooks after trying almost a dozen different pairs from Nike, Reebok and Asics. Comfortable for long distances, supportive on uneven surfaces and over small rocks, as well as remaining solid on inclines and declines. Most importantly no foot discomfort. Its my first pair of Brooks but i think i may be hooked.
