Be aware that Bosch has outsourced warranty service in the US to a company that does not offer weekend housecalls. If your machine breaks you will have to take a day off from work to get it fixed. You are much better off with any brand that is serviced by Sears - they do weekend housecalls.

I had heard good things about Bosch dishwashers, wanted a "Top Wash Only" feature and this one coordinated with our other new appliances. At about the two year mark, a few prongs began breaking off the racks. Every fifth or six wash, the bottom fills up and I spend 20 minutes sucking water out with a turkey baster. Yes, we've checked hoses, pulled the disherwasher out, you name it. Of course, the warranty has expired and just to get someone to come out is $125+. Cleaning is adequate, but at this point, I'd take back my old $500 Kenmore, it was just as good. It looks great, but don't waste the extra money.
