We had a large DLC-14 for over 15 years, but with just two of us, it was often not worth the trouble to lug it out, do a small job, and then wash all the intricate parts. The DFP-3 is just right for small batches, easier to disassemble, easier to clean, and it has more attachments to do more things than just grind and shred. Well worth the price--well worth twice the price.

I have limited counterspace and my old full size cuisinart was just to big, bulky and heavy to move. I purchased this compact Cuisinart model, because of it's footprint, weight and that it did more than chop veggies. It has several cutting blades that allow you to grate, slice and of course mix like the larger models. Even the motor is substanstial for its size. I like it so much that I purchased this one as a gift for my sister.

It works very well I had bad experience w/ the magic bullet and I was looking for gadget to replace small jobs. the problem I found in this food processor is that you have to be careful and not put much liquid ,only up to the line otherwise it is a mess thank you

My wife wanted a new Cuisinart. so I thought that a step up from her old one would be nice. I'm a proud recipient of the benefits (she's an AWESOME cook), and I might end up using it a few times myself when I cook for her (guys, don't be WUSSIES... Cook for your "significant other" once in awhile; The benefits outweigh the drawbacks... TRUST ME!!!)

All I really needed this to do was to chop vegetables (Peppers, carrots, tomatoes, etc.) and it couldn't even do that. Everything it chopped it chopped unevenly. It would nearly liquefy some things or chop other things so unevenly that I just had to go back to chopping with a knife. A waste of my money.
