This is a great little food processor. It works beautfully, the mini-bowl is great, and it will mince into tiny pieces. Know that the base is extremely heavy. Please take care with it! I put the blade into the sink and when I put my hand into the sink, it sliced my nail and a piece of my skin right off! The blade is incredibly sharp.

I've only had it a month, but I've managed to make about 50 pounds of dough, 20 different salsas, and many other creations. I always put my new toys to the test right away to make sure that their going to make it. This one kicks but and I have not had any issues. The 3 cup mini bowl works great for herbs and garlic!

I have used the Braun food processor for years but could no longer replace the disc carrier, which breaks often. So I went searching and this seemed a reasonable next generation/price. So far I like it ok. One of my favorite uses is to grate fresh parmesan; this process leaves something to be desired--more small chunks than good grating of hard cheese. Will keep working on it. Good pulse performance; good pesto results; good pastry mixing.

It's very quiet, feels tough. I would actually like a slow speed, as well as pulse and on. It goes together well, although the main bowl is not as big as I expected when you consider overflow from the middle spindle. Sometimes it doesn't chop all the food until it's pulverised - I couldn't get coarse chopped tomatoes that didn't have chunks, but overall I like it.
