The Garmin Nüvi 350 is a GPS navigator. It does have some great features like a built in mp3 player and a digital photo album. I love that you can type in the name of any place you can think of and it will not only tell you how to get there but also give you the phone number and arrival time. I do like the Garmin but I have had some trouble with it as well.+Positives+It's the next best thing to having a computer in your pocket. It travels well in the little black travel pouch that comes with it. You pretty much plug it into your cigarrette lighter and go. It charges while you are using it and holds a charge for days. You can even take it with you when you are not in the car. I really love the fact that it gives you the phone numbers for every store. I had to go to Toys R Us the other day and I had no idea what their hours were so I just punched in the Toys R Us and called the number to ask. That was convenient! It also saves your favorite places. Another great feature is the restaurant listings. Have you ever been hungry and knew that you were craving Italian food but did not know the area well enough to find an Italian restaurant? In the Garmin you go to food and then the category of food you want, in this case Italian, and up pops every restaurant in the area from the biggest pizza chain to the smallest Mom and Pop ristorantes. -Negatives-When you first use it make sure you test it out somewhere you are familiar with and give yourself about a weekend to learn all of the controls and features it offers. I have found that it does seem to get confused for instance I have seen it be like 5 miles behind before. That doesn't really help if you don't know where you are and in some ways it confuses you rather than helps you. Sometimes you can reset it by turning it off and powering it back up again but this does not always work. It takes a while to load maps when you first set out to use it each day but once it's warmed up it is ready to go. It comes with a suction cup that enables it to be attached to your windshield but for the life of me I can't figure out how to set that up.Tips: Use a stylus with it instead of your finger. Clean it with one of those cloths that you use to clean eyeglasses with. Leave the charger plugged into your car at all times but take your Garmin with you so that it does not get stolen out of your car. They sell screen protectors for electronics I so far have not scratched the screen yet but it is better to be safe than sorry because the screens are expensive to replace. They sell add on services like a Travel Guide and a Savers Guide but you don't really need to subscribe to those in my opinion.

I have been using this for the past 2 years and it works great. This device has problems in the screen where it off positions the buttons, and there is a slight delay in catching up with the satellites. But the re-routing works really well and its pretty fast.
