Had this GPS for few months. Mounted on the dashborad. One morning it just start showing nothing but a blank screen. Sent it back to Navigon for repairing. Didn't hear from them for a month. Called and was told that something internal has gone bad and they need me to pay for it ?!!! Guess no more Navigon for me then.

If you are looking for a gps with great navigation (reality view, lane assist, free traffic & maps) without unnecessary features then you are at the right page.

I was looking for GPS installed SUV but it would cost me $1900 more only for this GPS. Now I don't need a GPS Car! I comes with a Dash Mount advesive plate (disk) also. I've mounted on the dash rather than on the windshield, where the hanging power cable would annoy me. It mounts very well on dash.
Usually 4.3 inch GPS are cost lot more but I found the best price at Anazon.com. Navigon 2100 MAX, very easy to use 3D map feature is excellent. I don't need mp3 player in it. I need a GPS to be a GPS only!
1.Speaks before every turn e.g. 'Right Turn in 300 feet', 'Make a Right Turn in .8 miles' etc.
2.Immediately, Re-calculate or re-route map even if I do not take the initial directed route.
3.Touch screen, can change the Speaker's voice from American to British accent.
4.Increase or decrease the speaker volume.
5.POI or point of interest is excellent. Make sure you download the Q4 2008 the latest (as of 12/10/2008) Freah Map in your GPS to see all the latest Gas station to Mc Donald!
6. Navigon Customer Service is excellent. No waiting time almost.
7. My major buying decision was the 'reality view' which shows the road signs in 3D.

I bought this on black fiday and used it that weekend to go to L.A, it did good until it directed me to get into an express/toll lane so now I am expecting a ticket since there is nowhere to pay for using that lane, it is prepay only. I also tried using it this week and last week to help my sister find a new home, would not recodnize most of the addresses that were under 2 years old, I called Navigon about the problem, was told I had an old version of mapping(about a year old) but that I could get the new version(released a couple months ago) for $79, I just bought the darn thing a little over a week ago and now they want me to pay for a new update that should have been installed in it to begin with. It goes back tomorrow and I will give the garmin 750 a try.

Able to run games, watch video and play mp3's after the hack. You can also purchase OnCourse navigator and run it instead of navigons software (or both)
I use an 8gig MicroSD HC card no problems on this bad boy
