a very sweet tale of that naughty little rabbit. beatrix Potter had a talent for creating those stories and she did her own illustrating which was impeccable drawings. she wrote some nice stories that are still loved and read to this day.a 4.5

I've loved Beatrix Potters stories from when I was 3. I'm 14 now, and I still ove them. My Grandmother Bought the whole seires for me to read and she also purchased as many videos of it as she could. I love the tale of samuel whiskes or the rolly polly pudding the best! Before every video it shows Beatrix painting the aniamls out in the local wildlife. She was such a good artist and writer, I wish I had met her. These books are enchanted with life and i'm sure anyone would enjoy reading them! Thankyou!

Very sweet, wholesome stories with fantastic illustrations. Beatrix Potter actually drew animals that were either her pets or that she saw when she went for a stroll in the countryside. This is a must for every child to read - so much so that I purchased the entire set and its in a lovely presentation box for my niece Freya, and she's only 10 months old.

One of the priceless tiny jewels from the Beatrix Potter box of treasures;the illustrations are enchanting, impeccable. As an artist,(not just storyteller), she is now gaining due appreciation.Peter Rabbit will appeal immensely to infants. As a junior, i loved the longer, somehow enigmatic and mysterious, though still witty,Tale of Mr Tod,in which an older Peter and cousin Benjamin Bunny appear. All of these immensely popular books have great individual merit.(The original setting for Mr McGregor's garden was at Tenby,Wales, though most of the other tales were in the Lake District countryside in England, where the author lived.)

The artwork is really good. When I was born I was given a box set from my aunt and I have still kept them. I have kept the books in really good condition and I hope to pass them on to my kids.

That crazy peter always getting into trouble and messing with farmer, what's his name's head. Great books, very cute. Went to Beatrixs' house and it was fun to hear how she got started writing and walking around the grounds where she had worked and lived.
