Take a look at a picture of yourself from your youth, like late teens or early twenties.  Check your hair style, your clothes, the way you carry yourself and realize that at the time you were pretty self assured that you were the essence of cool.  That's the person who will be committing you to a skin markation that you will be living with forever.  I ain't saying don't do it, but have a conversation with yourself in the future (or the past).

Reminds me of a picture on the Failblog website of someone who got a tattoo of a girl in a prom dress and it turned out horrible.

Most reputable tattoo shops (and yes, there are far more of these than the puritans would have you believe) won't work on you if you're loaded.

Maybe it's just me, but maybe you should wait until you're sober until you put something on your body that will be there for the rest of your life. But hey, it's your call.
