I bought this scooter as a Christmas gift for my daughter and two weeks later the scooter would loose power within 30 seconds after she got on it. I called Razor and they sent me new batteries but that didn't fix the problem. So I called them again and they sent me a motor, still didn't work. Then they said they would send me a new control but instead I received batteries. Charged them and it fixed the problem but now five months later same problem. My other daughter has a razor 300 and has had no problems. The owner manual is not much help.
Very disappointed in this product not worth the money,headaches or time.

The scooter seems to be really nice..it's a Christmas gift so I don't know how it actually runs yet. Be warned; however, it you are buying this as a gift. It was shipped in it's original box with the picture of the scooter on the outside of the box. Ours was shipped by FedEx and the box arrived DESTROYED when it was left for delivery. The front bumper was bent and damaged with this shipment. We're keeping it because it isn't worth the aggravation to ship it back for a new one.

(written by daughter of user) My parents got me this for Christmas last year and it is sooo fun!!! It goes way faster than a normal motor scooter and you don't have to stand! They are soooo cute and the seat opens up into a little cubby. The only thing I had a problem with was that it has to be on almost completely flat land or else it shakes and it's all bumpy and loud. But otherwise great product!!! Definitely buy it!!

I bought the black one for my grandson but I bought myself the purple one. He hasn't gotten his yet because its for Christmas. We play on mine for now. I chase him on the scooter with my bicycle and the we switch and he chases me on his bike and I'm on the scooter. Great Great FUN!!!

We bought this scooter for our daughter's 9th birthday. Despite what the other reviews say about the charge lasting only for a short time, we haven't found this to be the case at all! Our daughter rides it mostly on the weekends and pretty much all day long. My husband found that it was quite simple to put together, and our daughter just loves it.

Amazon was great on their end. The product is the problem. The battery wouldn't stay charged for long and now it won't hold a charge. I read reviews before buying, and many reviews mentioned bad batteries. I should have bought another brand. My other daughter has a Scwhinn and we have not had battery problems with it. I would not recommend this product. I will contact Razor and see how they handle the battery issue. I expected a better product considering the price.
