This guys voice was the soundtrack to my summers in my youth. If you ever get a chance go back and listen to some of his mile calls Chum Salmon, Chinook Pass. You tube has a few of those races and some that he called at Hollywood. And there they gooooooooo! Shame on Emerald Downs for not bringing him on. I'm still pissed at Ron Crockett after all these years.
