Rasputin may have been an immoral opportunist, but not necessarily evil, because he never killed anyone. Rasputin was the Tsarina's creature. By denoting him as a spiritual healer, she helped make him who he was.

I don't think of him as evil... just a little randy.

Some people will say that this guy is pure evil.  I'm pretty much on the fence with Rasputin; on one side, he didn't orchestrate the murder of anyone or any select group of people.  On the other side, he was instrumental, albeit unintentionally, in bringing down a 300-year-old Russian monarchy.
