Sigh!  I shall have to make another post on this poor misunderstood leader.

Genghis was born of poor Mongol parents.  He suffered from ADHD, and the local Mongol school board wasn't able to get enough Ritalin.  

Genghis's parents were too poor to get it by themselves.  Because of the ADHD problem, Genghis dropped out of school and fell in with bad companions.  Too many nights he and his cronies overindulged in fermented mare's milk.

Finally, Genghis parents sent him out to forage for food.  He had to pick rutebegas, truffles, radishes and roots of all sorts.  Put yourself into his place.  You would have been mean too!
