milosevic was a communist aparatchik, and a half traitor to his own people. wrongly described as a nationalist, his opportunism was his own crime. standing up to the nato pact yielded a disproportionate portrayal of him as a war criminal, yet on more than 4 years of legal procedings which failed to show much evidence or convince him, he exposed hypocrisy of the west whose leaders appear responsible for much worse crimes. his death remains shielded in mystery, apparently, he was killed to save the nato set kangoroo court of a verdict they couldnt make based on lack of evidence.
