I agree with the others. I wish I could have moved with my daughter to another region but I couldnt because of work situation.

In our experience we had an absolutely horrible time with this regional program and service provider. We feel supervision and programming was definitely substandard and the regional agency was unable to adhere to ministry guidelines. We paid for private therapy while waiting for services and before starting with Alqonquin. We found our child regressed after trying to work with ACFS. I would recommend that you educate yourself to what an IBI program looks like in the rest of Ontario before starting any IBI program. There is an excellent website that was created to help families understand the logistics and standards of the regional programs at http://web.mac.com/myasmar/iWeb/AutismZeitgeist/It is chocked full of practical information to help families navigate the IBI program in Ontario.

I believe that this agency is lacking the knowledge it takes to do the job. this past year and a bit has been a waste.
