I've always thought he couldn't throw a team on his back and win one and last night kinda validated that thought. Five interceptions and a fumble. To the Cardinals. Huh? You coulda had Jake Plummer out there and had a better performance!

I wouldn't call him great, but he's fun to watch, and he's smart. Carolina is a bit under the radar, which given their record is a little surprising, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a good playoff run out of them.

Delhomme is often forgotten when great quarterbacks in the NFL are brought up, but there is no doubt that he is a winner. He led the Panthers to a 12-4 record and a bye, in a division that turned out to be a lot better than people thought it would be. He has also fared very well in the playoffs, including an NFC championship for Carolina in 2003. It took the Patriots and Adam Vinatieri's game winning kick to stop Carolina, in a Super Bowl in which Delhomme played very well. Delhomme is a fun player to watch, and is definitely a guy I would want leading my team into the playoffs.

i have always liked jake but was sad that he did not have all the tools to make a run for superbowl, but this year if they avoid injurys they could do it, with de'angelo playing as well as he is and steve smith always plays well and is ever dangerous, all they need is for the D' to keep playing well and for tight ends and receivers to step up.
